Kevin Van Dap paced the Royals with 15. Terry Pomais added 11, Justin Padvaiskas 11, David Gill 9 and Tyler Rundquist 8. Royals coach Steve Beauchamp told the Nanaimo Daily News that “we put pressure on them coming up the floor so they would feel comfortable setting up their offence. It forced them to run off the clock and also prevented transition baskets.” Derek Wiseman paced the Mariners with 16. Brett Nohr added 16, Mike Parkins 8, Shawn King 7, Liam Sullivan 4, Curt Spaven 4, Mike James 2, Tony Bryce 2 and Greg Pierce 2. Mariners coach Mark Simpson said that “I thought Douglas College played well – they took away many of the things we wanted to do – we didn’t get as many easy baskets off turnovers. Our executive was not good down the stretch.”

In the finals, the Langara Falcons defeated the Douglas Royals 79-77; 79-80; 75-70 (2g-1).
In game one, the Falcons nipped the Royals 79-77 in overtime on a hook shot by Ron Arnold with five seconds to play. Brian Scales paced the Falcons with 26. Tyler Lundquist led the Royals with 18.
In game two, Douglas evened the series by edging Langara 80-79 on a pair of free throws by Tony Pomonis with seven seconds to play. Tyler Runquist paced the Royals with 14. Dave Gill added 12.
In game three, Langara prevailed 75-70 as Peter Rubin scored 20. Tony Pomonis paced the Royals with 17. Dave Gill added 15. The Royals led 44-40 at the half.
