        In the semis, the Langara Falcons dusted the Fraser Valley Casdades 75-54 as Kevin Hanson scored 16, Paul Bale 14 and Ed Anderson 13. Surinder Sarowa led the Cascades with 21. Ron Smith added 11 and Rob Klassen 11.

        In the other semi, the Capilano Blues clipped the Douglas Royals 68-55 as Mark Marter scored 20, Pino Perovic 10 and Tony Bell 10. Brian Brown led the Royals with 12. Steve Mitton added 10.

        In the bronze medal match, the Fraser Valley Cascades edged the Douglas Royals 54-52 as Veto Rus scored 14. The Royals (coached by Steve Beauchamp) included Brent Henderson, Brian Brown, Steve Mitton, Brian Englund, Dan Glavind, Mark White, Grant Rose, Brian Englund, Dave Reiter.

In the final, the Capilano Blues defeated the Langara Falcons 84-75 despite almost squandering a 25-point lead. The margin was whittled down to four in the second half before the Blues awoke from their slumber. Pino Perovic paced the Blues with 21. Dave Sidhu added 20 and tournament MVP Mike Marter 19. Blues coach Neil Chester told the Vancouver Sun that “I was on the verge of a heart attack. They did a pretty good job of putting the pressure on us.” Langara was led by Tony Medic 25 and Dave Olson 14.
