        In the semis, the Langara Falcons thumped the New Caledonia Carriers 85-66. Dean Peters led the Carriers with 21. Allan MacDonald added 20 and Dave Van Dolah 14. “Their height was finally too much for us to handle,” Carriers coach Phil McLeod told the Prince George Citizen.

        In the other semi, the British Columbia Institute of Technology Cougars dusted the Capilano Blues 64-46.

        In the bronze medal match, the New Caledonia Carriers clipped the Capilano Blues 80-69 after leading 38-25 at the half. Alan MacDonald led the Carriers with 18. Hans Minck added 18 and Dean Peters 14.

        In the final, the Langara Falcons defeated the B.C.I.T. Cougars 73-68 as Don Schmidt scored 20 and Randy Coutts 18. The Falcons, national runners-up from a year earlier, welcomed back 6-5 Don Schmidt from a year off. Greg Turkington paced the Cougars with 16. David Hubbard added 15.
