        In the semis, the St. Clair Saints whipped the Durham Lords 71-51 after leading 22-13, 38-22 and 55-44 at the quarters. The Saints broke to a 14-2 lead and dominated the affair as their full-court pressure hounded the Lords into endless miscues for runouts. The Lords rallied to within six in the final frame but the Saints instantly re-applied full-court pressure and pulled away down the stretch. Kim Moroun was chosen player of the game for the Saints. Jana Kucera led St. Clair with 23 on 8-29 from the floor, 3-10 from the arc, 4-8 from the line, 8 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals.         In the final, the Fanshawe Falcons edged the St. Clair Saints 78-72 after leading 20-15, 33-29 and 54-51 at the quarters. There were five lead changes in the final frame and the Saints took a 69-67 lead with five minutes to play. But Claire Dechet drilled a trey to give the Falcons back the lead and then Mary Ingribelli hit a shot against an expiring shot clock to give Fanshawe some breathing room and they held on for the win. Dechet was named player of the game for the Falcons. Chuot Angou paced Fanshawe with 20 on 7-16 from the floor, 2-4 from the arc, 4-4 from the line and 6 boards.         After the season, St. Lawrence-Kingston coach Remy Simpson retired after eight years at the helm “to focus on my family, well-being and other passions.” In 8 years as coach, Simpson compiled an 87-66 record and received provincial and national accolades, winning the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) Coach of the Year award three times (2013, 2015, 2017) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletics Association (CCAA) Coach of the Year in 2015.
