        In the quarterfinals, the 3rd-seeded Fanshawe Falcons defeated the 6th-seeded Niagara Knights 74-35. The Knights included Kristin Davies, Kristin Flindall, Trinity Smith, Andrea Flindall, Caryn Thompson, Katrina Boutilier, Helga Borosia, Ingrid Wells, Jackie Collins, Kim Sherwood, Guylaine Legault and Tara Morra.

In the other quarterfinal, the 5th-seeded George Brown Huskies upset the 4th-seeded Durham Lords 50-49. The Lords included Jennifer Hevey, Sarah John, Naomi Mullings, Julie Wagar, Kelly Morrison, Kathryn Blazina, Marsha Bowes, Ailsa Miller, Michelle Flood, Jennifer Robinson, Debbie Thompson, Cortney Walsh, Tracey Weightman and Cartis James.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Humber Hawks throttled the 5th-seeded George Brown Huskies 77-17. The Hawks led by a breath-taking 44-5 by forcing a bushel of turnovers for runout layups. The Huskies mustered a 7-0 spree in the second half but still fell by 60. Missy McCutcheon paced the Hawks with 14. Aman Hasebenebi added 12 and Tanya Sadler 11, while Tamara Cummings was chosen Humber’s player of the game.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Seneca Scouts defeated the 3rd-seeded Fanshawe Falcons 68-47.

        In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded Fanshawe Falcons defeated the 5th-seeded George Brown Huskies 72-42. The Huskies included Karen McGavin, Treisha Hylton, Tricia Warwick, Erin Gibbs, Lisa Mediros, Lydia Abankwash, Latoya Schoborgh, Nadine Smith, Elaine Tiezon, Julie-Anna Gavadza, Natasha Dookie, Susan Thomas, Melissa Thompson, Vicki Allen, Caryl Allen and Linda Sweiss.

        In the final, the top-seeded Humber Hawks defeated the 2nd-seeded Seneca Scouts 60-39. “It feels awesome. There are no words to describe how amazing this feels,” co-captain Heather Curran told The Coven. Guard Aman Hasebenebi said “everybody was nervous. It took us awhile to get all the jitters out, then after that we were fine.” The Hawks led 28-19 at the half and got on track in the second by locking down on defence. “We deserve this. We’ve worked hard to get here,” Hasebenebi added.
