        In the semis, held at Toronto’s Humber College, the Seneca Scouts dumped the Durham Lords 77-58. Marcy Scribe was chosen player of the game for the Scouts, while Melanie Raeside earned the laurels for the Lords. Skribe paced the Scouts with 20. Kim Pepper added 16, Ann Marie Darlington 13, Pamela Morgan 8, Allison Shand 7, Vikki Ruth 4, Sharon Moore 3, Fiona Letang 2, Sue Montoute 2 and Liesa Ratz 2. Stephanie Kassien led the Lords with 18. Heather Smith added 13, Raeside 11, Tara Tripney 7, Heidi Wayne 4, Collinda Thompson 3 and Cindy Miller 2.

        In the other semi, the Fanshawe Falcons nipped the Humber Hawks 58-57 after leading 36-26 at the half. Paula Rich was chosen player of the game for the Falcons, while Ayodele Bygrave earned the laurels for the Hawks. Rich paced the Falcons with 15.
