        In the postseason quarterfinals, the Niagara Knights nipped the St. Clair Saints 56-55. The Saints included Jolayne Young, Brenda Mullins, Janice Dowell, Sandy Noble, Diane Banda, Carolyn Gibb, Colleen Bensette, Cheryl Chartrand, Kim Last, Suzie Moroz, Brenda Bauwens, Tina Barker, Geri Rondot, Ann Batty and Carol Morgan.

In the semis, held at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, the Fanshawe Falcons defeated the Niagara Knights 65-47.

In the other semi, the Mohawk Mountaineers dumped the Seneca Wampums 63-52.

In the bronze medal game, the Seneca Wampums defeated the Niagara Knights 64-58. The Knights included Carol St. Angelo, Nancy Mather, Ann Young, Judy Helstab, Shelly Russell, Dawn Sherap, Lisa Buckland, Donna Czainski, Coral Whidden, Janie Hogeveen, Jane Knafelc, Mary-Barb Haine and Kathy Langendoen.

In the final, the Mohawk Mountaineers edged the Fanshawe Falcons 53-51. Tournament MVP Debbie Knowles completely dictated the tempo. Barb Besenyodl paced Mohawk with 15. Ursula Griemens notched 24 for Fanshawe.

All four teams qualify for the postseason tournament at Loyalist College in Belleville.

In the semis, the Algonquin Thunder clipped the Durham Lords 59-47 as Chris Ladouceur scored 17, Suzanne Chouinard 15, Michele Maluski 13, Debbie Sernoski 10 and Louise Desjardins 4. Carole Bunn paced the Lords with 24. Denise Macdonald added 6, Adrianne Tellier 6, Sue Allen 4, Tracy Vaughan 3, Yvonne McSkimming 2 and Liz Festo 2. Lords coach Greg Milosh told the Durham Chronicle that “I kind of mismanaged the game. I would like a rematch. I blame the loss directly on myself.” Forward Carol Bunn said the loss “was not all his fault. The game could have went either way and we could have played a little harder. They only had five players” and perhaps the Lords should have pressed earlier to tire out their foes.

In the other semi, the Sheridan Bruins stomped the Loyalist Lancers 50-13 as Ann Sapinski scored 14, Virginia Morris 12, Annette Winkler 10, Christine Smith 4, Alison Buchan 4 and Heather Wright 4. Lori Moon paced the Lancers with 6. Mary Wilson added 2, Pat Hunt 2, Lianne Ramsey 3 and Heather Clarke 1.

        In the bronze medal match, held in Belleville, the Durham Lords defeated the Loyalist Lancers 65-16 as Sue Allen and Denise Macdonald each scored 14. Yvonne Hopkins added 8, Liz Hurst 7, Yvonne McSkimming 6, Liz Festo 6, Adrianne Tellier 5, Carole Bunn 3 and Tracy Vaughan 2. Kim Fray led the Lancers with 4. Nicole Belanger added 4, Leanne Bansey 3, Liette Lemieux 2, Heather Clarke 2 and Mary Wilson 2. The Lancers also included Polly Cox, Lori Moon, Pat Hunt, Barb Rutledge, Susan Savage and Karen Bolliger.

        In the final, the Sheridan Bruins defeated the Algonquin Acaats 58-51 as Heather Wright scored 16, Annette Winkler 14, Virginia Morris 14, Ann Sapinski 7, Alison Buchan 5 and Chris Smith 2. Chris Ladouceur paced the Acaats with 17. Suzanne Chouinard added 11, Debbie Sernoski 10, Michele Maluski 8 and Louise Desjardins 5.
