        All four divisional champs qualify for the postseason tournament, hosted by Seneca at Toronto’s York University.

In the semis, the Algonquin Thunder defeated the Fanshawe Falcons 45-37.

In the other semi, the Mohawk Mountaineers dumped the Cambrian-North Bay Maroons x-x.

        In the bronze medal match, the Fanshawe Falcons defeated the Cambrian-North Bay Maroons 35-30 as Kathy Stuart scored 11 and Rose Ysebaert 9. Debbie Davis led Cambrian with 9.

        In the final, the Algonquin Thunder (then the Acaats) thrashed the Mohawk Mountaineers 54-31. The Acaats trailed 22-16 at the half but rallied to defeat Mohawk with full-court pressure and strong interior play. Colleen Good and Kim Morgan paced the Aacats with 14 points apiece. Margaret Hart and Claire Halpenny led Mohawk with nine each. “This championship is the product of a two-year rebuilding program,” Algonquin co-coach Dan Doyle told the Globe & Mail.
