In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded Humber Hawks (Central, 1st) defeated the Seneca Braves 101-97 in overtime. In the semis, the top-seeded Humber Hawks defeated the 4th-seeded Algonquin Thunder 79-71. Chris Bennett was chosen player of the game for the Hawks, while C.J. Anderson earned the laurels for the Thunder.

In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Sheridan Bruins upset the 2nd-seeded Fanshawe Falcons 73-44. Hugh Bent was chosen player of the game for the Bruins, while Kyle Wilkinson earned the laurels for the Falcons.

In the bronze medal match, the Algonquin Thunder defeated the Fanshawe Falcons 96-78. Jimmy Sebulime was chosen player of the game for the thunder, while Andrew Cammaert earned the laurels for the Falcons, who also included Jordan Saunders, Dave Brown, Tyler Bettridge, Kyle Wilkinson, Chris Brosnan, Chad Foster, Marlon Coore, Cory Bondy, Chris Barkley, Josh Braby, Tom Boyd, Archie Parsons, Brad Kerr, Mike Grant, Mark Alton and Mark Burtenshaw.

In the final, the 3rd-seeded Sheridan Bruins upset the top-seeded Humber Hawks 89-87 in double overtime. With six seconds to go and Humber leading by two, Hawk Dexter Miller missed a pair from the line. Sheridan rebounded ball and went coast to coast to scoring tying bucket. In first overtime, Hawk missed a putback that would have won it. In second overtime, Sheridan took a six-point lead. Humber rallied back to tie it. Dexter Miller hit treys to put Humber ahead by one with 6.2 seconds on clock. Sheridan inbounded the ball to Elvis Dennis who under pressure dribbled it off a Humber guard Jeremy Walters foot at half-court with 3.6 seconds to play. Sheridan again inbounded to Kevin Passley at midcourt. He took two dribbles and launched a desperation 40-footer which hits nothing but net. Kevin Passley was chosen player of the game for the Bruins, while Cornell Brown earned the laurels for the Hawks. Humber coach Mike Katz told The Coven that “statistically, our foul shooting hurt us a lot, but it seemed as though they were destined to win tonight. They are

tremendous second-effort guys, and they battle hard. They’re a hell of a team and it seems as though they’ve put it together.” Bruins coach Jim Flack said “we were … given up [for] dead at Christmas. People in our own camp thought we were dead, but I’ll be honest. I thought it was going to be a long hard road to make it to the final four, and

even the playoffs.”

After the season, Thunder coach Hugh Lynn retired.
