Lords coach Ernie Rainbow told the Durham Chronicle that “we were too up for this game and we started to get a little too excited. … I think if we had five more minutes, we would have won the game.”

In the other semi, the Canadore Panthers thrashed the Sir Sandford Fleming-Peterborough Knights 84-68 as Jay Peak and Christie Wilkinson each scored 22.

In the bronze medal match, the Sir Sandford Fleming-Peterborough Knights defeated the Durham Lords 81-76.
