        In the postseason semis, hosted by Durham, the Durham Lords whipped the Lambton Lions 75-50. “We didn’t have to play our best to beat (the Lions),” Lords captain Cliff McPherson told the Durham Chronicle. “We had already beaten them twice earlier.”

In the other semi, the Northern-Kirkland Lake Huskies defeated the Georgian Grizzles 56-54.

In the bronze medal match, the Lambton Lions stunned the Georgian Grizzlies 63-54. The Grizzlies included Mike Cracknell, Wael Yassein, Brad Celeste, Kevin Bethune, Rob Holm, Pat Smiley, Mike Stoddart, Mike Corrigan, Gil Roberge, Greg Brennan and Kerry Petryshyn.

In the final, the Durham Lords defeated the Northern-Kirkland Lake Huskies 71-64. The Lords rallied from a 15-point deficit to pull out the win. The Lords Eric Carter scored a combined 43 points in two games, while Cliff McPherson notched 37. The Huskies Dave Barkwell scored a combined 38 in two games.
