Raffi Der Boghossian added 14 and Nino Paulucci 14. Ron Morton paced Sheridan with 18. Paul Kane added 16. The Bruins also included Jerry Auger, Phil Davies, Joe Wade, Nick Mandaag, Norbert Wilging, Howard Hairston, Gin Zubrickas, Mike Pope, Scott McAndrew and Martin Convery.

       In the West semis, the St. Clair Saints defeated the Niagara Knights 64-58 as Henry Koscielski scored 25, Kevin Boutette 17, along with 11 boards, Bob Schwager 8, Dave Maynard 5, John Herbert 4, along with 10 boards, Doug Collins 3 and Roy Leach 2. Saints coach Alex Hoffman said “our game plan was to hold (Ted) Kicinski and (Mike) Soucie to 20 points between them. Kicinski only got 10 and Soucie, their big man, was held to a mere 3, mainly because (Kevin) Boutette did a fantastic job on him man-to-man.” Niagara drew within 60-58 down the stretch but St. Clair shifted to a zone and held the Knights scoreless over the final 2:30. Jim Watson paced the Knights with 20. Irv Overmeyer added 13, Ted Kicinski 10, along with 12 boards, Terry Krawec 5, Angelo Perrella 5, Mike Soucie 3 and Pat Kilby 2. Saints coach Alex Hoffman told the Windsor Star “we came up flat. … We had no offensive continuity at all.” The Saints kept coughing up the ball against the press, while the Falcons double and triple-teamed Henry Koscielski. Pierre Sonier led the Falcons with 19. Bert Udeam added 16, Gabe Romano 12, Bob Horvath 10, Terry Shabot 10 and Ron Bailey 4, while Mike Chevrette was scoreless. The Falcons hit 32-61 from the floor and 8-17 from the line. The Saints hit 25-71 from the floor and 4-10 from the line. Henry Koscielski paced the Saints with 16. Vikings coach Ted Batchelor told the Kingston Whig-Standard that “a key factor in our winning was freshman guard Garth Kelly. He had a super game, especially during the first half when he picked up the slack … During the second half, we dominated the boards and converted a lot of second efforts.” Ron Crook led the Lancers with 16. Brian Bell added 13 and Darryl Broughton 8. In the other semi, the Seneca Braves thrashed the host Northern-Kirkland Lake Huskies 91-60 as John Melchiori scored 34, Raffi De Boghassian 16, Leonard Noel 12 and John Morache 4. Tim Hodgins led the Huskies with 15.

       In the bronze medal match, the Durham Lords defeated the Northern-Kirkland Lake Huskies 84-77 as Roy Green scored 16, Joe Fitzpatrick 15, Mike Baker 11, Dave Lapos 11, Dave Morgan 10, Vic Kneitas 9, Larry Horruzzey 7, Gino Pascuzzi 6 and Doug Askew 2.
