Providence College participates in a Manitoba league and a Christian Colleges league.

In the Western Canada Christian Colleges quarterfinals, Providence College dispatched x as all-tournament selection Gerald Mulzelaar scored 27.

In the semis, King’s College of Edmonton dusted Providence College 135-116. Chris Kehler led Providence College with 27.

1997

        In the semis of the Christian College league, the Providence College Freeman defeated the Western Christian College x-x (by 12). Western Christian coach Dick Kirkpatrick said “they were just too tall,” he said. “We had a pretty poor shooting percentage in the first half. But losing by 12, you know’, you’re only three or four shots out of it. So, it was a good game, very tight defensively on both sides and very few fouls.” Jeremy Love led Western Christian with 27. Western Christian also included John Close, Paul Laliberte, Larry Elford, Tim McMillan, Randy Foss, Jason Bandura

        In the Manitoba Christian College Athletic Association, Providence College captured the title.

        Providence College also captures the National Bible College Association silver medal.
