In the finals, the Red River CC Rebels, who’d toiled during the season in the Greater Winnipeg Senior League, defeated Assiniboine 99-52; 81-54 (2g-0).
In game one, Red River prevailed 99-52 as Gideon Hodge scored 19, Rodney Jacobs 17 and Gord Muir 13. “We kind of blew them out,” Muir told The Projector. Bob Down led Assiniboine with 23.
In game two, Red River completed the sweep with an 81-54 win as Terry Valden scored 15, Ray Priam 12 and Gord Muir 12.
