Vanier’s Marie-Eve Martin was chosen player of the year. Team Captain for the Cheetahs, she averaged 17.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 1.94 spg. Leading the Cheetahs with 30 minutes of playing time, she was a major factor in her team’s record of 14-5 in league play and an overall record of 22 -9.
Brad Karren of Lethbridge was chosen coach of the year. Under Brad’s guidance, the Kodiaks improved on their 2008 record from (12-8) to (19-1).
