       Despite repeated requests, CCAA officials declined to reveal tournament seedings.

       In the quarterfinals, held in Sackville, N.B., the Humber Hawks clocked the Mount St. Vincent Mystics 104-57 after leading 19-17, 45-30 and 71-52 at the quarters. Hawks player of the game Jalen Menzies said ““I don’t think I had my best game today, but our bench is so deep and we work so well together.” Jayden Smith was chosen player of the game for the Mystics.        The George Brown Huskies nipped the Vancouver Island Mariners 70-69 on a pair of free throws from Ryan Taylor with 2.9 seconds to play. The Huskies led 23-22 after one quarter. The Mariners led 49-36 at the half and 65-47 after three quarters. But the Huskies roared back in the final frame as their full-court pressure began yield dividends. Huskies player of the game Christian Tabiri said the difference came when “we switched it up to a 1-2-2 [defence],” which led to “everything falling in our favour.” Adam Anhold was chosen player of the game for the Mariners. The Cheetahs capitalized on a raft of Mariner turnovers for runouts. The Mariners rallied within 4 down the stretch but Yanis Malanda notched a pair of critical buckets to ice the win. The Hawks pressure, particularly in the second half, forced the Cheetahs into a raft of turnovers for runouts.        In the ‘Battle of the Huskies’ final, the Keyano Huskies captured their first CCAA crown by defeating the George Brown Huskies 68-55. George Brown led 16-11 after one quarter. Keyano led 34-24 at the half and 49-40 after three quarters. Keyano dominated the boards and took command with a 16-0 run in the second quarter. D.J. Haynes said “they made some runs but you know they say when a pebble is thrown into the water, it creates some ripples but it eventually levels out. That’s what we had to remember and the guys stuck to our game plan. Keyano coach Jeremy Wielenga said his troops defence was exceptional. “I can’t comprehend what this will mean (to Keyano). I remember what it meant to the community when we won the ACAC title so it’s going to be really meaningful to everyone.” D.J.
