        In the semis, the 2nd-seeded St. Thomas Tommies clocked the 3rd-seeded Mount Allison Mounties 61-36 after leading 19-7, 35-17 and 53-25 at the quarters. “We felt really locked in on what we wanted to do defensively,” said Tommies coach Fred Connors. “They really stayed active and aggressive. It was as good as we have defended all year. … Bridget (Frazee) and Vanessa (Soffee) really played well today. I liked the way they kept attacking the basket and not settling. I felt the tone was set on the defensive end though and that took everyone’s effort so I am really proud of the whole group.” Bridget Frazee paced St. Thomas with 18 on 6-10 from the floor, 0-1 from the arc, 6-6 from the line, 2 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals. We didn’t respond collectively, and we came out on the wrong end this time,” said Tommies coach Fred Connors. Madison Doucet paced Mount St. Vincent with 17 on 5-10 from the floor, 0-1 from the arc, 7-10 from the line, 5 boards and 4 steals.
