In the final, the top-seeded Holland Hurricanes clubbed the 2nd-seeded Crandall Chargers 82-54 to repeat as titlists. The Hurricanes trailed 8-2 early but led 25-17, 38-23 and 65-34 at the quarters. “We got a good jump on them and then we just didn’t let up,” Hurricanes coach Mike Connolly told the Charlottetown Guardian. “We exploited our strength in the post.” Marvia Dean led the Hurricanes with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Ashley Moss was chosen player of the game for the Hurricanes. “In the end it was domination down on the block for us and we had some great guard play too,” Connolly said. “Our kids came out to play and I was really proud of them today. They had a dominant game.” Marvia Dean paced the Hurricanes with 17 on 7-10 from the floor, 3-5 from the line and 15 boards.
