        In the quarterfinals, the 4th-seeded St. Thomas Tommies defeated the 5th-seed New Brunswick-Saint John Seawolves 50-48 as Jocelyn McIntyre scored 13 and Kathryn Walters 12, including a pair from the line with 2.9 seconds to play. Laura Drombolis added 10. Tommies coach Dan Graf said leadership, defence and good boardwork, along with the play of Jocelyn McIntyre, Robin Mackie and Kathryn Walters proved the difference. Julie Edwards led UNBSJ with 18. Meaghan Wood added 10. The Seawolves (coached by Bob Bonnell, assisted by Patti Doyle and Lori Doiron) also included Robyn Moore, Brandy Jones, Katie Titus, Pauline Waggott, Lindsay Church, Jill Balser, Jill Dean.

        In the other quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Mount Allison Mounties dumped the 6th-seed Nova Scotia Agricultural College Rams 58-50 as Shannon Parlee scored 19, Sarah Dupuis 13 and Ali Duret 11. Mounties coach Al Hart said defensive shifts and improved rebounding were the difference. Danielle Devoe paced the Rams with 10. Jillian Isenor added 7 and was chosen player of the game for the Rams. The Rams (coached by Fred Works) also included Kaili van Vulpen, Sarah Welsh.

        In the semis, the 4th-seeded St. Thomas Tommies edged the top-seeded University of King’s College Blue Devils 56-54 in overtime as Kathryn Walters scored 17 and Tommies player of the game Haley Doney 15. The Tommies led by double digits at the half but the Blue Devils rallied down the stretch before St. Thomas held off the charge on solid shooting by Kathryn Walters, Hayley Doney and Jocelyn McIntyre. Becky Melvin paced King’s with 16. Emily McPherson added 13.

        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Mount Allison Mounties edged the 2nd-seeded Mount St. Vincent Mystics 53-47 in overtime. ACAA rookie of the year Shannon Parlee, who scored 21, said the team’s focus proved the difference. Sarah Dupuis added 15. Erin Zink and Jenna Dunn each scored 16 to lead the Mystics. Kathrine Brien added 7. The score was knotted at 46 after regulation time.

        In the final, the Mount Allison Mounties defeated the St. Thomas Tommies 49-33. Senior Mountie and player of the game, Katie Green, led the Mounties with 21. All-star rookies Shannon Parlee and Sarah Dupuis chipped in with 10 and nine points respectively. The Mounties led 20-14 at the half and outscored the Tommies 29-19 over the final 20 minutes. Hayley Doney led the Tommies with 11.
