        In the semis, the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics defeated the St. Thomas Tommies 63-47 as forward Nadia MacDonald scored 14, Kim Fralick 11 and Julie Clattenburg 11. Lindsay Estabrooks paced the Tommies with 13, all in the first half.

        In the other semi, the N.S.A.C. Rams steamrolled past the King’s Blue Devils 60-37 as Carla Shaw scored 16. The Rams led 38-10 at the half. Hayley Porter led the Blue Devils with 16.

        In the final, the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Rams defeated the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics 70-61 as Sarah Connell scored 13, Jillian Tozer 12 and Catherine Steiner 12. Lora Harvey led the Mystics with 17. NSAC hit 22/24 from the line in the first half as they built a 43-31 lead. “When it comes down to it, you win championships attacking the basket and getting to the line,” said Steiner. “You can shoot as many threes as you want.” With 10 minutes to play, the Rams led 60-41 and the Mystics began pressing and jacking treys. They cut lead to 64-61 on a Kim Fralick trey with 1:17 to play. But the Rams iced it at the free throw line. “We were down 19. We came within three,” said Fralick. “The shots just didn’t go in for us but we fought until the end and we know what kind of team we have.”
