In the semis, the top-seeded Mount Saint Vincent Mystics defeated the 4th-seeded St. Thomas Tommies 47-46 as Andrea Hill scored 12, Laura MacKenzie 10. Heidi Park and Susan Ross each notched 13 for St. Thomas.
In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Mount Allison Mounties defeated the 3rd-seeded King’s Blue Devils 45-39 as Suzanne Peachey scored 13, Sylvie Stringer 9 and Meredith Logan 7.
In the final, the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics defeated the Mount Allison Mounties 56-46 as Amber Leahy scored 15 points, nabbed 4 boards and pilfered two balls. League all-star Sheila Murphy added 9 points, 6 boards and 3 steals. Krista Harrison led the Mounties with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Sylvie Stringer added 9, Stefanie Keezer 7 and Suzanne Peachey 6. Mystics coach Angie McLeod said “we never let down. We just stayed up and positive and played as a team.”
