        In the final, the top-seeded Holland Hurricanes captured their sixth consecutive conference title by dusting the 3rd-seeded Crandall Chargers 100-64. “It’s interesting to say six in a row, but for some guys it’s two in a row,” said coach Josh Whitty. He added that the bye to the semis and superior depth proved the difference. “I certainly thought that played a factor into the outcome of the game. Our guys played well. We played really unselfishly, we rebounded really well, got out and ran in transition.” Whitty also noted that Roosevelt Whyley was exceptional after on off-day in the semis. “I said to him coming off the bus this morning, ‘Well, look Chick, you never played two bad ones in a row, so we’re expecting big things here today’. He did a great job.” When Michael-Ange Kayeye passed Whyley the ball on a 2-on-0 early in the game and Whyley threw down an impressive dunk, that “really got us rolling,” Whitty added. The Hurricanes led 22-9, 47-17 and 76-45 at the quarters. Roosevelt Whyley paced the Hurricanes with 25 on 10-17 from the floor, 0-1 from the arc, 5-7 from the line, 15 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals.
