        In the quarterfinals, the 6th-seeded UNB-Saint John Seawolves stunned the 3rd-seeded Atlantic Baptist Blue Tide 101-85. Atlantic Baptist led 47-44 at the half but UNBSJ’s Colin Johnston hit three consecutive treys in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. Johnston was selected player of the game for the Seawolves, while Karl Frederick earned the laurels for the Blue Tide. Alex Walsh led UNBSJ with 28. Johnston added 20, Scott Hachey 15, Alan Rivers Bowerman 14, Jon Talis 12, Josh Smith 8, Phil Martin 2 and Norm Richard 2. Chris Leger paced the Blue Tide with 22. Frederick added 10, Jeff Vass 14, Scott Black 12, Jason Brunt 9 and Nick Earle 8.

        In the other quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Mount Allison Mounties edged the 5th-seeded Holland College Hurricanes 82-79 as Matt Finniss hit a pair of free throws with 20 seconds to play and Jeff Sadler added an insurance free throw with 10 seconds on the clock. The Hurricanes ad led for most of the affair. Mount Allison was ahead 42-40 at the half. Holland College was whistled for 21 fouls and Mount Allison 10. Mount Allison outrebounded the Hurricanes 32-31. Doyle Anthony paced Mount Allison with 18. Finniss added 13, Sadler 12 and Josh Graham 10. Jacob Ayangama led the Hurricanes with 24. Matt McKenna added 16, Steve Brown 12 and Tyrell Williams 9. The Hurricanes also included Jordan Bruyere.

In the semi-finals, the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics dumped the 6th-seeded New Brunswick-Saint John Seawolves 80-66 as Brendon Arnold scored 27, Damian Gay 15, Ibrahaim Toulany 9, Jason Carlson 9, Mark Brien 7, Stephen Morris 8, Ian Baker 3 and Carl Wickstrom 2. The Mystics led 34-27 at half-time. Alex Walsh led the Seawolves with 13. John Tallis, Colin Johnston and Alan Rivers-Bowerman each added 10, Scott Hachey 8, Josh Smith 8 and Phil Martin 3. The Mystics depth proved the difference down the stretch. Brendon Arnold was chosen player of the game for Mount Saint Vincent, while Alex Walsh earned the laurels for the Seawolves. The Seawolves also included Matt Fairweather, Daniel Greenier, Wes Michaud, Andrew Naismith, Kevin Reid, Norm Richard and Alan Rivers-Bowerman.

In the other semi, the 4th-seeded Mount Allison Mounties stunned the 2nd-seeded King’s Blue Devils 84-79 as Kent Matheson scored 26, Doyle Anthony 17, Josh Graham 17, Jeff Sadler 8, Dennis Hopper 7, Akil Smith 4, Matt Sarty 3 and Matt Finniss 2. King’s led 36-32 at the half. Matt Gamblin scored 20 for the Blue Devils. Lucas Adekola and Josh Balish each added 12, Mark Cwajna 9, Clifton Riley 6, Aaron Carpenter 6 and Brian Jensen 3. Kent Matheson hit several critical shots in the third quarter as Mount Allison built a lead and then Matt Gamblin hit several critical buckets down the stretch to ice it. Kent Matheson was chosen player of the game for the Mounties, while Matt Gamblin earned the laurels for the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils also included Colin Bebbington, Maurice Carr, Matt Gambline, John Good, Maurice Carr, Bannon Morrissy, Keshna Spalding, Matthew Zed and Tyrone Williams.

In the final, the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics defeated the Mount Allison Mounties 98-66. The Mounties kept it close early but couldn’t contain the Mount’s offence long enough to stay in the game. “We were down 17-16 at the end of the first quarter,” said Mystics coach Rick Plato. “We just had the jitters a little bit and we took a lot of dumb fouls and gave up a lot of foul shots. But we were up at half time by 13 and then we just came out in the third quarter and opened (the lead) up to the 20s. The last quarter we shot really well.” Hitting double digits for the Mystics were: Jason Carlson 19, Mark Brien 15, Carl Wickstrom 11 and Brendon Arnold 10. Adam Jewkes added 9, Stephen Morris 8, Ibrahaim Toulany 6, Damian Gay 6 Gary Gray 5, Anthony Zinn 4, Sean Boulay 3 and Ian Baker 2. Doyle Ford Anthony led Mount Allison with 16 points. Dennis Hopper added 15, Akil Smith 8, Josh Graham 7, Jeff Sadler 6, Stephen Bohan 4, Matt Sarty 3, Matt Finniss 2 and Kent Matheson 2. Mark Brien was chosen player of the game for the Mystics, while Dennis Hopper earned the laurels for the Mounties.
