In the semis, the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics spanked the King’s Blue Devils 59-46.
In the other semi, the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Rams edged the host Mount Allison Mounties 72-69.
In the final, Mount Saint Vincent Mystics defeated the N.S.A.C. Rams 84-64 to capture their third consecutive title and sixth in seven years. Mark Clarke paced the Mystics with 29. Todd Hirtle added 16. “They just dominated the game,” said Mystics coach Rick Plato. “These guys are fourth-year players. They were ready. It was all business. They shot well. They hit the key buckets. They played the good defence. They wanted to go out as winners.” Craig Sampson added 10 and Craig Isley 10. Mike Fisher led the Rams with 20. Seth Kingsbury added 16 and Josh Kingsbury 13.
