The other semi, the UNB-Saint John Seawolves (formerly the Red Barons) defeated the N.S.A.C. Rams 69-64 as Greg Doyle scored 22, Aaron Carson 18 and Alex Kidney 14. Chad Edison led NSAC with 26. Paul Perin added 12.

In the final, Mount St. Vincent defeated UNB-Saint John 74-52. The Mystics hit back-to-back treys 12 minutes into the game to take a 31-17 lead and romped. “They’re the only team that beat us all year and, right before the game, we watched (a video of that loss), Mike Clarke, who scored 24, including six from beyond and arc and 16 in the first half, told the Halifax Daily News. “If that doesn’t exactly motivate you, I don’t know what will.” Player of the game Malik Adams added that defensive play was the only motivation required. “That’s all we practice. We work really hard on our defence and that starts everything. The offence will take care of itself. Mark Clarke is an all-Canadian. He can score 70 points if he wants.” Adams added 19. Coach Rick Plato “was really glad for Malik. I would have really like to have had him for four years (he’d transferred from King’s after suffering a knee injury). We had to play against him for three years. He’s a great leader at the point.” The Mystics opened the second half with a 14-2 run to take a 62-31 lead. The Sea-Wolves played without second-team all-star Wayne Hinds, who was injured in the semis. But coach Bob Donnell made no excuses. “Their defence is a lot better than ours right now. That’s the defence you have to play to win in this conference. Our goal was to make the plays and then to get to Sunday. We were hoping to make something happen. But we see the level they’re at and it’s something we aspire to.” David Brien nabbed 11 boards for the Mystics. Alex Kidney led the Seawolves with 28, including 17 in the first half.
