Final New Brunswick division standings: St. Thomas (6-0)

       In the New Brunswick division semis, the 3rd-seeded UNB-Saint John Seawolves torched the 2nd-seeded Moncton Jayvees 73-58 as Leo Coyle scored 30, Craig Wilson 17, Rick Dixon 13, Don Britten 6, Tim Buckley 5 and Joe Murphy 2. Dan Killam scored 16 to pace Moncton (coach Don Grant). Tim Killam added 16, Reg Levesque 10, Earl Arsenault 5, Gilles Doucet 3, Cliff Kennedy 2, Laurent Bordage 2 and Ron Bryant 2, while Jean Judas Basque was scoreless.

       In the other semi, the top-seeded St. Thomas Tommies defeated the 4th-seeded UNB Jayvees 61-56 as John McGratton scored 32, Terry Doran 14, Dan Atkins 8, Mike Horne 6 and Tim Sullivan 5. Brian Davis led the Jayvees with 17. Steve Ruiter added 13, Keith Steeves 9, Ken Albee 7, Gary Young 4, Clem Pelot 4 and Kip Brown 2, while Wetmore and Falkner were scoreless.

In the final, the UNB-Saint John Red Barons staged a second half comeback to defeat the St. Thomas Tommies 68-63. Craid Wilson paced the Red Barons with 24. Tournament MVP Ricky Dixon added 14, Leo Coyle 13, Britten 8, Buckley 7 and Roberts 2. John McGratten led St. Thomas with 26. Mike Horne added 16, Terry Doran 14, Sullivan 3, Atkins 2 and Pike 2. The Tommies led 36-30 at the half.
