        In the semi-finals, the Grande Prairie Wolves crushed the Mount Royal Cougars 64-44 as Kim Harris scored 14. Trisha Yuzik paced the Cougars with 12.

In the other semi, the Grant MacEwan Griffins nipped the SAIT Trojans 70-69 as Sharla Undershute scored 17. Sue Deck led SAIT with 18.

In the bronze medal match, the SAIT Trojans thrashed the Mount Royal Cougars 77-57. The Cougars included Marianna Raguz, Shannon Selmser, Kim Hertzberg, Ariana Kane, Jill Sutherin, T Sadler, F Kaketsis, C Lomenda, Trisha Yuzik, C Martis, Kerri DeZutter, K Dayman, A Eirikson and C Andrew.

In the final, the Grande Prairie Wolves defeated the Grant MacEwan Griffins 62-54 as Kim Harris scored 24. Wolves coach Kelly Ohlahuser told the Grande Prairie Herald Tribune “that was a pretty balanced effort all around. We were pretty much in control in the whole way. … We were nervous but we played tough defence.” Ohlhauser added that Kim Harris’ clutch free throw shooting was critical. “She was definitely the key factor for us.”
