Lisa Anderson paced the Cougars with 15. Dawn Foster added 14 and Denis McPhee 13. Lana Simpson paced the Kodiettes with 22. Paula Gorman added 8. Gorman played a great defensive game, the best I’ve ever seen her play as far as defensive play,” said LCC coach John Jasiukiewicz. “We played well. They just played great. Height was a major factor. We let up for about three minutes there and got behind by 20 points. We got it back to 10, caused many turnovers but just couldn’t capitalize on them at the other end. If you can’t do that, you can’t win. They were a little more experienced when it came to playoff basketball.”
