In the final, the Briercrest Clippers (1st, South) defeated the Keyano Huskies (1st, North) 79-73 after leading 20-8, 38-32 and 60-50 at the quarters. The Clippers led by as many as 17. Tournament MVP Francis Dogani said “everyone trusted each other. All the brotherhood, all the love we have for each other… the school rallying around us- it was a battle and I’ll never forget this moment.” Clippers coach Shane Sowden said “I was very impressed that the guys were calm, composed, and confident. We had the lead the entire game… the guys stuck to the game plan defensively and it worked.” Jude Shepherd-Hills was chosen player of the game for the Clippers, while Keenen Caribou earned the laurels for the Huskies. Jude Shepherd-Hills paced the Clippers with 20 on 7-12 from the floor, 4-8 from the arc, 2-3 from the line, 5 boards and 3 steals.
