In the three-team Calgary Intercollegiate league, the University of Calgary Jayvees prevailed. SAIT finished 7-4 in second place. Mount Royal finished third.

The Lethbridge JC Kodiaks finished (4-1) in the tournament, defeating Camrose Lutheran 117-41 as Bob Babki scored 58 and Lewis Jordan 11; SAIT 72-59 and NAIT 100-49, while losing 71-68 to Mount Royal. The Cougars defeated Camrose Lutheran 160-39. Camrose Lutheran whipped NAIT 78-43.
In the championship between the top two finishers after round robin play, the Lethbridge JC Kodiaks pounded the Mount Royal Cougars 108-62 as Bob Babki scored 49, Lew Jordan 16 and Jerry Nyklaw 15.
