Lethbridge’s John Jasiukiewicz was named national coach of the year. Jasiukiewicz led the Kodiaks to a 14-0 record. “I’m kind of bewildered rather than surprised,” said Jasiukiewicz. “The funniest thing about the award is I’ve been head coach for (our years now and this is probably the worst job I’ve done in those four years.”
The all-Canadian team featured: Laurie Hockridge (Lethbridge). Hockridge was a first-team ACAC all-star. She averaged 26.7 ppg. “That was my goal this season, to try for the All-Canadian team. It’s nice to be recognized, I guess.” Kodiettes coach John Jasiukiewicz said “she’s the most dominating player in the ACAC by far.”
