Scotia Stewner paced the Blazers with 16 on 7-10 from the floor, 2-2 from the line, 9 boards, 3 assists and 5 steals. Tiara Licsi added 16 on 8-16 from the floor, 4 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals. In the final, the top-seeded Red River Rebels edged the 2nd-seeded host Canadian Mennonite University Blazers 36-34 to capture their fourth consecutive provincial crown. The Rebels led 8-7 after one quarter. The Blazers led 19-17 at the half. The Rebels led 30-29 after three quarters. The Blazers opened with a 7-2 run but then the scoring became painful as tooth surgery. Rebel guard Lynn Panesa, who was chosen tournament MVP, took command in the third quarter as the Rebels built a slim lead and held on for the win. Zeralynn Panessa paced the Rebels with 13 on 6-18 from the floor, 1-2 from the arc, 0-2 from the line, 2 boards and 3 assists. Selamawit Andu added 6 on 3-8 from the floor and 0-2 from the line.
