In the semis, the top-seeded Kelsey Institute Amaruks whipped the 4th-seeded Canadian Bible Crusaders 72-44 as Brenda Machnee scored 22 and Debbie Machnee 19.
In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Wascana Institute stunned the 2nd-seeded Briercrest Bible Clippers x-x.
In the final, the 3rd-seeded Wascana Institute nipped the top-seeded Kelsey Institute Amaruks 56-54. Debbie Machnee led the Amaruks with 15. Amaruks coach Len Jeffries told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix that “in our minds, this was to be an easy win and we’d beaten Wascana quite handily on three previous occasions. Wascana simply outhustled us and both ends of the court.”
