In the semis, the Mount Allison Mounties defeated the St. Thomas Tommies 60-49 as Toby Morrell scored 20, Jacklyn Mowat 15 and Barbara Strong 20. Heike Wendlandt led St. Thomas with 21. Shelly Walsh added 16.
In the other semi, the Nova Scotia Teachers College Hawks topped the Technical University of Nova Scotia Knights 53-48 as Kara Mason scored 15, Kerri MacDonald 14 and Jennifer MacDonald 11.
In the final, the Nova Scotia Teachers College Hawks defeated the Mount Allison Mounties 60-42 as Kara Mason scored 18, Ruth Ann Murray 10 and Kerri MacDonald 8. The Hawks led 38-22 at the half. Lisa Cole and Julie Duffie paced the Mounties with 8 apiece. The Teachers hit only 3-13 from the line, while the Mounties were 8-15 from the line.
Following the season, Nova Scotia Teachers became a community college and ineligible for the CCAA nationals. Coach Jennifer Lloyd promptly bailed for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
