The CEGEP playoffs were held after the national tournament.
In the semis, the Dawson Blues defeated Champlain-Lennoxville x-x. Champlain-Lennoxville included Mike Ramsay, Craig Jones.
In the other semi, the John Abbott Islanders dispatched Seminaire du Quebec x-x.
In the provincial finals, the Dawson Blues nipped the John Abbott Islanders 77-76 as Wayne Smith hit the winning free throw in the final seconds. Varouj Gurunlian paced Dawson with 31. Henry Blumenfeld added 19. Blair Sheir led the Islanders with 21. Gordon Brabant added 19.
