The 6-2, 22-year-old pre-med student was also a member of the men’s national team. The Calgary native was also named a first-team All-Canadian for the third consecutive campaign. He was named MVP of four tournaments during the season. “The greatest thrill of my life was when I won this award last year,” said Tilleman. “I don’t feel deserving to have won it two years in a row.” Tilleman was also the Canada West player of the year and a first-team league all-star.

        Victoria’s Ken Shields captured his fourth Aberdeen. Shields led the Vikings to a (10-0) Canada West record and a (24-1) overall record.
