The Moser was awarded to Acadia’s Mike Hazard. The Providence, Rhode Island native became the first Moser winner from the AUAA. He averaged 27.2 ppg (second in the nation) and 8.5 rpg, while hitting .534 from the floor and .893 from the line in conference play. He was named the AUAA player of the year and a first-team AUAA all-star.

        Brandon’s Jerry Hemmings was named recipient of the Aberdeen. Born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Hemmings played three years in CIAU, two with Lakehead and one with Brandon. In the year he toiled for the Bobcats, he was chosen a first team GPAC all-star. Hemmings steered the Bobcats to a (15-1) regular season GPAC record and the GPAC postseason title, along with a (33-2) overall record.
