After the season, Faith Rostad resigns as Brandon Bobcats coach. She is replaced by Dori Rodzinyak. “Her name was passed on by a number of people,” said athletic director Nancy Stanley. “I just made some inquiries and her name came up because she was involved with the National Coaching Institute.” Rodzinyak spent the previous year in Lethbridge, where she was an assistant with the Alberta Basketball Association’s provincial juvenile team. She was previously coach of the U of Victoria junior varsity team and an assistant to Victoria coach Kathy Shields. Rodzinyak played five years for the University of Lethbridge, where she was a four-time all-star. “She’s technically very strong, she’s young, she’s enthusiastic, she’s fresh, she’s keen,” Stanley said. “Given a chance, she will do a good job.”
