In the finals, Brandon defeated Regina 117-81; 87-85 (2g-0).
In the opener, Brandon crushed Regina 117-81.
In game two, Brandon prevailed 87-85. Bobcat guard Keith Vassell hit a fadeaway jumper with six seconds on clock to give Brandon the victory. “I don’t think I could have finished off playing in the BU gym any better than this,” said Vassell, who scored 23, grabbed 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Kansas City-born starter Demetrious Floyd joined the team in December.
