In the semis, 3rd-seeded St. FX stunned 2nd-seeded New Brunswick 86-84 as Eva Bove hit four free throws in the final minute. She finished with 11 points, including 9-10 from the line. St. FX led 44-42 at the half. Theresa MacCuish led St. FX with 27. Amanda Wilcox added 16, Melitta Belyea 13 and Jen Grant 13. Belyea pulled down 9 boards and Grant 7, while Wilcox nailed five treys. Kara Palmer and Jill Jackson each scored 15 to lead UNB. Laura Swift added 12, Jackie Flieger 12, Bonnie Hale 11 and Donna Retson 10. Swift nabbed 11 boards and Palmer 10.

        In the other semi, top-seeded UPEI defeated 4th-seed Dalhousie 83-59 as Heather Campbell scored 18, including a trio from beyond the arc. Hillary Watson added 17 and 9 boards. Kelly Copeland scored 12, Cathy Lawlor 10 and Julie Dickinson 10. UPEI led 44-32 at the half. The Panthers out-rebounded Dalhousie 38-25. Jennifer Clark led the Tigers with 17. Julee MacAfee added 13, Angie ‘Flipper’ McLeod 12 and Renee McKenzie 12.

        In the final, the UPEI Panthers defeated the St. FX X-Women 91-87 as Lori Knickle scored 31 on 10-14 from the field, 11-12 from the line and grabbed 6 boards. Hilary Watson added 17 and Kelly Copeland 15. Watson also nabbed 9 boards. Theresa MacCuish led St. FX with 31, including 25 in the second half. Melita Belyea and Amanda Wilcox each added 17, with Belyea grabbing 9 boards. St. FX led 44-38 at the half.
