In game one, St. FX prevailed 55-50. Jack Reardon led the Panthers with 18. Gus Dorais added 11, Bob Mooney 8, Danny Shea 5, Frank Slowey 4 and Johnny Taylor 4. St. FX hit 17-24 from the line, while UPEI was 10-22.
In game two, UPEI prevailed 45-43 as Jack Reardon scored 19, Johnny Taylor 10, Danny Shea 6, Gus Dorais 6 and Bob Mooney 4. Frank Korbut paced St. FX with 25. Packy McFarland added 6, Franey Shea 4, Al Grassi 3, Jack Sullivan 3 and Julian Richards 2. The X-Men led 22-19 at the half. The X-Men had just three Canadians on their roster.
