        In game one, host U.N.B. and St. FX tied 42-42. Varsity Red Rudy Hanusiak missed two free throws with 7 seconds to play to deny UNB the win. George Buchan paced the Varsity Reds with 13. Gerry Boulton added 11, Hanusiak 8, Smith 5, Glass 3 and Miller 2, while Garland, Little and Stairs were scoreless. Joe Flaherty paced the X-Men with 10. Pace added 9, McNally 8, Conley 7, R MacNeil 4 and Propper 4, while Campbell F MacNeil and Lynch were scoreless.

In game two in Antigonish, St. FX prevailed 73-44 to take the series by 31.
