In the semis, Bishop’s defeated McGill 88-84 in overtime. The Redmen trailed by as many as 14 in the second half but were ultimately undone by giveaways. Willie Hinz led McGill with 19 on 7-11 from the floor. Rick Rusk added 14.
In the final, Concordia captured its third consecutive crown by dumping Bishop’s 86-54 as John Gissendanner scored 34. The Stingers led 39-21 at the half. Gary McKeigan added 13.
