       In the championship semis, the McMaster Marauders clipped the Toronto Varsity Blues 52-45.

       In the other semi, the Western Mustangs whipped the Ottawa Gee-Gees 74-55.

       In the bronze medal match, the Toronto Varsity Blues nipped the Ottawa Gee-Gees 44-43. The Gee-Gees (coached by Bob Butler) included Coleen Dufresne, Glynne Turner, Liz Jeffrey, Salome Tam, Carol Hyer, Ramonde D’Amour, Loretta Anne Dooher, Sandy Perry and Sue MacDonald.

       In the final, the Western Mustangs defeated the McMaster Marauders 54-38.

For the second consecutive year, Ryerson, Queen’s Intermediates, Toronto Intermediates, Brock and Trent played in an intermediate loop. It did not play a round-robin but held two tournaments. Queen’s Intermediates went undefeated in the tournaments.
