In the semis, held in Toronto, the Toronto Varsity Blues dispatched the Queen’s Golden Gaels 48-36.

       In the other semi, the Western Mustangs clubbed the McGill Martlets 59-28.

       In the bronze medal match, the Queen’s Golden Gaels pounded the McGill Martlets 56-34 as Diana Barras scored 13. The Martlets (coached by P Walker) included Joan Sanderson, Marian English, Gerry Dubrule, Margaret Black, Eleanor McGough, Donna Ells, C Bruce, Virginia Carter, N Pavlychenko, Lorna McLean, A Lough, J Harrison, Boo Baton, Mary McMillan, Marie Thorburn and D Hansmen.

In the final, the Toronto Varsity Blues clipped the Western Mustangs 46-37.

In the semis, MacDonald defeated Carleton 45-18.

       In the other semi, McMaster clipped Guelph (then the Ontario Agricultural College) 45-36.

       In the bronze medal match, the Guelph Gryphons pounded the Carleton Robins 52-25. The Robins (coached by Mavis McArthur) included Fran Arbuthnot, Claire Manning, Peggy van der Stoel, Barb Bailey, Tibby MacDonald, Bev Robinson, Pam Metcalf, Fran Meredith and Libby Cameron.

In the final, the McMaster Marauders nipped MacDonald College 39-37.
