In the semis, held in London, Toronto defeated Western 22-9 as twins Marian and Grace Barnett combined for 13 points. Marian scored 7 and Grace 6. Rosanne Kelly added 5 and Mary Hicks 4. Guards Betty Fullerton, Lillian Laasko, Joan Chalk and Jean Kaufman were, by definition in the six-woman game, scoreless. B. Rafuse scored 6 for Western. D Shirley added 3 and M McIntosh 1, while Norma Rafuse, McIntosh, R Craig, A Gillen, J Ralph, J Duffield, A Dutton and D Jackson were scoreless.

In the other semi, McGill defeated Queen’s 27-22 as Louise McFarlane scored 11, E. Evans added 6, Bobbie Fenton 5 and M. Camp 2. Marion Reid led Queen’s with 9, Janet Truckenbrout 3, Barb Ullet 2 and Phyllis Waters 2.

In the bronze medal match, Queen’s defeated Western 21-15 as Barb Ullet scored 11, Phyllis Waters 5, Janet Truckenbrout 4 and Marion Reid 1, while H Schaus, B MacRae, M Edwards and G Greenless were scoreless. Margaret McIntosh paced the Mustangs with 6.
