OSLIAA (formative year)

…………………………………………………… In the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference, also referred to as the intermediate league, teams do not play a balanced schedule. The league expanded to nine members and apparently had two sections. There does not appear to have been any manner of postseason playoff. A year later, the Ottawa Journal reported that the league was being launched, so 1950 appears to have been some manner of embryonic existence.

The Queen’s Journal reported that the Queen’s Intermediates captured the crown with a (10-0) record. The league played an imbalanced schedule with teams not necessarily playing a home-and-home series, or an equal number of games. There apparently were some interlocking games.
