McGill repeats as champs after another undefeated season. Dartmouth transfer B.R. ‘Reed’ Lewin was the team’s high scorer, while George Faulkner and Donald Smaill gave the Redmen a strong front line. Starting guards Bob Calhoun and Mel Rice were the second and third leading scorers on the team. The Redmen were coached by Floyd Marcellus Van Wagner, a native of Hyde Park, N.Y. ‘Van’ was professor and assistant phys ed director at McGill from 1920-54.
