        In the other semi, Calgary pounded Lethbridge 87-59.

        In the bronze medal match, the Lethbridge Pronghorns defeated the U.B.C. Thunderbirds 83-59 as Pauline Van Roessel scored 25, Shawna Molcak 18, Sharon Hamilton 16, Jodi Savage 8, Andrea Hlady 8, Karen McConnell 4, Stephanie Hlady 2 and Laura Bethlehem 2, while Martina Szlagyi and M.J. Sorenson were scoreless. Val Philpott paced the Thunderbirds (coached by John Ritchie, assisted by Colette Piloud) with 11. Kim Sauder added 9, Anne Lacey 8, Sue MacPherson 8, Kathleen Knight 6, Teresa DeBou 6, Daphne Armstrong 4, Adair Duncan 4, Julie Jensen 2 and Tracey MacDonald 1, while Nancy Dautovitch and Kim Johnson were scoreless.

        In the final, Calgary dumped Victoria 63-54 as Veronica Vander Schee scored 18, Cori Blakebrough 17, Karen Degner 13, Jodi Evans 10 and Laura Ryckman 5, while Linda Orr, Claire Mitenko, Denise McPhee, Sue Jickling and Lisa Shiroc were scoreless. Sandy Espeseth paced the Vikettes with 15. Kelly Boucher added 14, Karla Karch 10, Jenny Sutton 7, Joanne Nutini 6 and Rini Sladecek 2, while Shannon Conway, Sandi Begg, Lynn Montgomery, Adele Fedorak, Sue Loney and Renata Augustinis were scoreless.
