Alberta wins the Race Trophy by default as Saskatchewan declines to challenge. The Huskies included Margaret Alexander, Rosalie Cowie, Gwen Cox, Marion Early, Flora Featherstone, Eileen Kennedy, Jennie Thompson, Jean Wylie, Margaret Willis and Margaret Garvie.
Nor did Manitoba challenge. The Bisons (coached by Alex Nitchuk) included Helen Schofield, Marie Jane Gottschall, Marion Schofield, Mary Cooperbrand, Helen Cranston, Verna Parkhurst, Evelyn Blankstein, Marion Casselman, Nancy Milton, Helen Ross and Doreen Falconer.
Alberta is reported to have defeated Manitoba x-x in an “exhibition” match. Canadian Press reports it as a conference game.
